Started with four people
In 2019 a few of us were streaming matches alone in different neighborhoods. We picked a bar, posted the time, and six people showed up. We have not missed a matchday since.
What we are
A supporters group, not a business. We pick a bar, book the room, and make sure the match is on with the sound up. Everything else — the flags, the shared plates, the arguments about the back line — comes from whoever shows up.
Who comes
Members range from people who grew up going to Camp Nou to Baltimoreans who picked the club up from a roommate. Fifteen names are on the roster and a matchday usually draws a few more. Nobody is quizzed at the door.
Becoming an official penya
We are working toward recognition as an official penya, which would connect us to the club and to the network of groups around the world. That step comes with season dues, so we are taking it slowly and putting it to a vote.
- 01Sound on, phones down for the first fifteen.
- 02Tip the bar staff well. They hold the room for us.
- 03Anyone can wear the shirt. Nobody gets tested on the 2009 squad.
- 04No abuse of players, refs, or each other. We will ask you to leave.
